There are three trim levels in the 2019 Nissan Rogue lineup: the entry level Rogue S, the SV and the range-topping SL. The SV and SL models can be had with a hybrid powertrain as well as the standard gasoline engine. The traditional gasoline engine is a 2.5-liter inline-four developing 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. All models are standard front-wheel drive with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and Nissan's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive System is an available upgrade for all versions of the 2019 Rogue.

The interior is a particularly strong area for the 2019 Nissan Rogue. As well as being stylish, high quality and very well-equipped there's more than ample space for passengers and cargo for a vehicle in this class. The total passenger volume is very impressive at 105.8 cubic feet, which translates to 37.9 inches of rear legroom and 43 inches for those sitting in the front. Cargo space is also plentiful, with 39.3 cubic feet in the back and as much as 70 cubic feet with the rear seats folded for those occasions where large, awkward items might need to be transported.

It appears the automotive press agrees about the interior of the Rogue, with Kelley Blue Book writing: "Nissan’s special sauce with the 2019 Rogue is its size. It’s perfect. The SUV is large enough to feel spacious inside and substantial on the road, but it’s also nicely compact, so it’s easy to park and it doesn’t feel like a barge around town"

Another reason the 2019 Nissan Rogue continues to be so popular with buyers is the great value for money it offers. Even the base S model comes standard with blind-spot monitors, automatic emergency braking, active lane control, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Safety is taken seriously by the 2019 Nissan Rogue with all models featuring six airbags, traction control systems, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a rearview camera.
